Besides for scooping up the Gold for Best Estate Agency, Pam Golding Properties (PGP) also walked away with the Silver Award in the category for Best Global Estate Agency.

Launched in 2004, the OPP awards cover almost all aspects of the international property industry with a focus on recognising true excellence in the industry. Judged by a panel of 50 industry leaders from around the world, these awards celebrate the best developers, estate agents and associated companies working in the global, cross-border residential real estate arena.

Comments Dr Andrew Golding, CE of the Pam Golding Property group: “We are delighted to receive this recognition at the OPP Awards, as the judging panel included our international peers in the industry.

“Today, the successful marketing of real estate requires high standards not only of professionalism and service, but also in regard to equipping agents with the best possible tools and marketing aids and providing clients with all the relevant information to enable them to make informed decisions with ease.

“The industry has entered a new realm in recent years, and in order to differentiate one’s business in the marketplace it is imperative that one achieves truly world-class standards in regard to marketing, technology, legal requirements and communications. While nothing can replace the personal interaction between a well-trained and experienced agent and his/her client – whether buyer or seller, the fact is that those agencies who are able to offer specialist knowledge together with the latest custom-built innovations and most effective market reach, are those who set the bar increasingly higher,” adds Dr Golding.

Pam Golding Properties was also recently awarded Superbrands status in South Africa for the fourth consecutive year, and awarded Best Real Estate Company in Africa at the International Property Awards in 2011.
