• Impact of the municipal elections

Papers should all be 20 minutes in duration, with 10 minutes reserved for questions and comments from the floor.
Every year more and more councilors, civil engineers, electrical engineers, water engineers and treasures attend the SARPA convention on the basis that it is the one and only forum in SA that focuses on a holistic approach to securing the income of your council or utility for services provided to the public.

Papers based on significant research or practical case study material will be given preference. Commercial content is not permissible, except where a new technology, system or an innovation is introduced. Commercial papers should indicate that the subject is a new innovation or technology. Legal issues are always popular as well as case studies, detailing successful litigation strategies, will be welcomed.

Feedback on the progress of papers presented at previous SARPA conventions is also welcome. You may also want to propose a paper by someone else whom you believe has a valuable contribution. The SARPA convention proposal form is attached and should be email to the secretariat by no later than, 17 March 2010.

Yours faithfully,

Malesele Lelaka
SARPA PRESIDENT
